It was pretty cold for October!

We found a local eatery in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, and ordered fresh and steamed mussels. They were amazing.

Shopped till we dropped this day!

It was a picture perfect day and we had a free tour of the Parliament

October 2013 we were docked downtown in Quebec City and right on the St. Lawrence River. It is a spectacular place!

What a beautiful place this was. We had the best crab cakes this day!

Now that is the way to treat a dockside building!

Walking off some lobster, we found this little nook.

Patti took this shot of the small door opening for one of the many small cement storage rooms that housed ammunition.

We did the tour of the Wharf museum and fortress.

Jose stopped by hills of the island, with farms all around.

The space on this island was very freeing, especially when we live most of the time on a ship!

Here we are on the ferry, taking a ride to Hamilton from King's Wharf. This is the Fall of 2013 and we were on the Norwegian Dawn.
